Center for Social & Political Thought


The Center for Social and Political Thought supports the study of social and political theory by arranging visiting fellowships, speakers, and conferences. Since its founding in 1982 as the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Culture and Society, it has hosted scholars and speakers from Britain, Sweden, Germany, and the US, and visiting graduate students from many countries. It is part of the International Social Theory Consortium, of which it was a founding member. The website for this organization, contains useful information about the field.
