Garcia Award

The Garcia Award was established by family, friends and local professionals in memory of Eduardo Garcia, a prominent and talented Tampa Bay architect. Each year, the top graduating design student at the USF School of Architecture & Community Design is selected from a pool of four nominated finalists who each set up a retrospective exhibition of the research and design work they created at USF in the graduate school program. Then, the former recipients of the Garcia award are invited back to jury the exhibition and select a winner.
