Evgeny Milov joined the University of South Florida faculty in 2025. He teaches courses
               in Audio Recording Techniques and Video Recording and Production, and serves as the
               Recording Studio Manager for the School of Music, supporting students and faculty
               with professional studio operations, training, and technical guidance.
Milov holds a Master of Music in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt, where he focused
               on acoustics, 3D audio, and Digital Signal Processing. His thesis explored neural
               networks for real-time guitar sound synthesis. He also earned a dual B.S./M.S. degree
               in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Ryazan State Radio Engineering University.
               His professional experience includes work as an AV Engineer with PureTek Group and
               seven years with Carnival Cruise Line in roles including Entertainment Director and
               Technical Manager. He also founded Concept Amplification, a boutique analog guitar
               equipment company.
Milov has collaborated with Grammy-winning engineer/producer Marc Urselli on high-profile
               projects, including the HBO Max series Painting With John and a Carnegie Hall performance
               by Natalia Lafourcade. As a musician, he has independently released albums and EPs
               in the metal genre. With over a decade of experience, he has developed AV systems
               for educational institutions, recorded and mixed music for both studio and live applicaions,
               and led large-scale entertainment operations. He is a member of the Audio Engineering
               Society and AVIXA, and holds certifications in Dante, AMX, and Harman programming.
               His creative and technical work continues to blend engineering precision with musical
               expression.
