Katherine D. Butterfield serves as the academic services administrator for the Corporate Mentor Program in the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. This program connects first-generation junior and senior business students with corporate executives from the Tampa Bay area. In her role, she leads the recruitment and onboarding of student members and peer leaders, and coordinates a variety of events, workshops, and corporate tours that provide students with valuable networking opportunities and exposure to influential leaders in the business community.

In addition to program coordination, Butterfield advises students and supports their professional development, taking a comprehensive approach to preparing them for leadership roles in the business world.

Butterfield holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and a master's degree in organizational management from Ashford University, as well as a doctorate in educational leadership from Capella University. She is a proud first-generation college graduate and a U.S. Navy veteran.
