Jonathan Canger, PhD brings more than 40 years of experience in human capital, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning across some of the world’s most admired companies, including Verizon, Motorola, The Coca-Cola Company, Monster.com, and Marriott International. He has held senior executive roles including chief human resources executive and global head of talent management and organizational effectiveness.
In addition to his corporate and consulting career, Canger serves as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida in both the Muma College of Business and the Department of Psychology, and has previously held faculty appointments at the University of Tampa, Rollins College, and Florida Tech.
He is currently the managing partner of Zennia Research, where he works with entrepreneurial leaders to build high-performing, scalable organizations. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship at the USF Muma College of Business and previously served on the Advisory Board for the TECO Center for Leadership at the University of Tampa. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Private Directors Association, and serves as a Judge for the American Business Awards.
Canger earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and his master’s and PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida.
