Vita

Sarah Henry is an assistant professor in the School of Management on the USF Tampa campus where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on management, organizational behavior and international management. Her research investigates interpersonal relationships, global careers and employee experiences at work. She is particularly interested in studying employees who are good citizens of their organizations and go the extra mile in their work.

Her work has been published in top scholarly journals, such as Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. Her work has also been featured in the Harvard Business Review and the London School of Economics Business Review. As a member of the Academy of Management and the Southern Management Association, she has presented her research at national and international conferences.

Henry earned a PhD from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and a bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University. Before joining the University of South Florida, she worked as an admissions recruiter, study abroad coordinator, student life director, and adjunct faculty member at various institutions, including the University of Texas at Dallas and Southern Nazarene University. She has also worked at Escola Internacional Preparando Gerações in Atibaia, Brazil.
