Lasy Phanthalangsy-Johnson is the communications and marketing officer for the Center for Executive and Leadership Education, located on the St. Petersburg campus. She evaluates and creates cross-media marketing and communications campaigns to amplify the center’s executive and leadership programs.

Prior to joining the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, she was a communications and marketing principal professional at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus for the Department of Pediatrics. During that time, she led the communications and marketing efforts for the Kempe Center and its partner, the Kempe Foundation.

Phanthalangsy-Johnson has over eight years of experience in elevating brand visibility and enhancing mission awareness. Her expertise includes building effective partnerships, communicating to broad audiences across multiple channels, and developing marketing strategies through compelling storytelling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Utah.
