Vita

Edward C. Tomlinson is a professor in the School of Information Systems and Management at the University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics and business from Virginia Military Institute, an MBA from Lynchburg College, and a master's degree in labor and human resources and a PhD in organizational behavior from The Ohio State University. His research centers on interpersonal trust in workplace relationships, with a particular focus on trust repair, transparency, and behavioral integrity.

He has published extensively in top-tier journals, and his work has been cited over 8,000 times. Tomlinson is also the author of a textbook on compensation and has taught a wide range of courses in organizational behavior and human resource management. He currently serves as area editor for the Journal of Trust Research and is actively involved in both academic and community-based service initiatives.
