The world is filled with challenging and wicked problems. DSR as a research method that can help us to find solutions to those problems and have an impact in today’s world. Prof. Chatterjee’s lab has been at the forefront of designing several innovative technologies and applications that have assisted patients to live healthy and age in place with technology support. In this talk he will reflect on the past and current trajectory of DSR in IS. Has the community become too theory fetish? He will also shed light on the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and how the next generation IS students can build innovative artifacts using DSR.
