Student Financial Coaches

Neil Foley

Neil is a sophomore dual majoring in Personal Financial Planning and Accountancy and Analytics. He is originally from Spring Hill, FL, where he played on his high school varsity golf team, a hobby he still enjoys today. Neil's passion for personal finance started at a young age when his grandfather introduced him to the stock market, and he continues to grow in this space through earning accreditations like the CFEI®, Bloomberg Market Concepts, and Bloomberg Finance Fundamentals.

Alex Healy

Alex is a Junior studying Personal Financial Planning. Alex serves as the President of Mu Nu Upsilon, USF’s professional fraternity for students interested in financial planning and financial services. Alex also has experience leading financial planning teams as the Director of Financial Planning for the Investment Club at USF, helping guide members through real-world case studies and mock client presentations. His professional experience includes two internships in the wealth management industry. Alex has supported both the sales support and wealth management teams at J.W. Cole, and most recently has interned with Blue Trust where he will be returning this summer for his third internship. Alex is an aspiring wealth advisor and is excited to keep building on these experiences as he works toward a future in private wealth management.

Samantha Mutter

Sammy Mutter is a fourth-year Personal Financial Planning major and Student Financial Coach in the Grow Financial Literacy & Planning Clinic. As President of FBLA and a youth girls flag football coach, she’s passionate about leadership, mentorship, and empowering others through financial education.
