ST. PETERSBURG (October 6, 2020) -- Hung Dang received an undergraduate degree in finance at USF and soon enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance program. His career goal is to become a financial analyst. While an undergraduate, Dang worked as a financial services intern for Mott and Associates. Dang was a member of the of the Junior Achievement Association where he taught students age 11 to 17 how to budget, save, invest and how to control their own financial futures and careers.

Dang enjoys helping others. He works with the Student Accessibility Services on the Tampa campus to help students with visual impairments in their classes. He assists with note taking, transcribes exams and provides exam assistance.

Dang was named a Bernstein Scholarship recipient this year. He reflected on the weight that has been lifted because of the scholarship. While taking courses, working, and studying for his CFA exam, the scholarship has been a great help in giving him more time to focus on his studies.
