ST. PETERSBURG (September 8, 2021) -- The fall 2021 semester launched the inaugural Muma College of Business’s cohort of Business Honors Students on the St. Petersburg campus. The program has thrived on the Tampa campus for many years, but under a consolidated USF and Muma College of Business, the program is now available to students on the St. Petersburg campus.

“We are excited to have expanded the Business Honors Program to the St. Petersburg campus to continue with our One College initiative,” said April Bailey, director of the Bulls Honors Program. “I am grateful to our committee of administrators and our generous donors for making it possible to expand the program to allow more Muma College of Business students the chance to become ethical leaders in our Tampa Bay community.”

On Aug. 21, the inaugural St. Petersburg campus cohort traveled to the Tampa campus for an official welcome to the Bulls Business Community.

Students admitted to the prestigious Bulls Honors Program are automatically part of the larger Bulls Business Community, a living-learning community at USF. The St. Petersburg campus students were welcomed by program administrators, were met by the rest of the Bulls Business Community students. They participated in various field-day events as one Bulls Business Community.

“I joined the Bulls Honors Program in St. Petersburg because I believe it is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills that will guide me through my academic and personal life,” said Paola Arnaldes Sicilia, a member of the inaugural St. Petersburg campus cohort. “I am sure this program will provide me with tools to succeed in the professional field.”
