Congratulations to CFS Research Associate Stephanie Martinez, PhD for being selected as a Board Member of the Association for Positive Behavior Support. Her 3-year term will begin in April 2022.

APBS is a multidisciplinary organization made up of over 1400 professionals (teachers, researchers, university professors, and administrators), family members, and consumers who are committed to the application of positive behavior support within the context of the school, family, and community.

Martinez has been with the Florida Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports Project since 2003. Her current research interests include implementation of school-wide PBIS with stakeholder voice and integrating restorative practices withing a PBIS framework.

Additional CFS faculty on the APBS Board include Professor Don Kincaid as Board President, Research Associate Professor Rose Iovannone and Research Assistant Professor Laura Kern as Board Members.
