I earned my B.S. in Medical Audiology Sciences at the American University of Beirut
(AUB) and completed my clinical practicum in hearing and balance at American University
of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) in Lebanon. I am currently enrolled in the Ph.D.
program for Communication Sciences and Disorders. My research interests are sound
therapy for Hyperacusis and signal processing in hearing aids. The former includes
sound enrichment through hearing devices and counseling for people with Hyperacusis,
whereas the latter focuses on the development of hearing aid systems and their implications
on hearing-aid users. I am currently a member in the Auditory and Speech Science Laboratory
in the Global Center for Hearing and Speech Research.
