Sign Vocabulary
The Educational Interpreter Project has produced 7 DVDs showing sign language vocabulary for Drugs/Alcohol, IEP Vocabulary, Language Arts, Math, Science, Sports and Teen Talk. These DVDs and their word lists are available online. For additional resources Books or DVDs, you can borrow items from RMTC-DHH (Resource Materials and Technology Center for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing) Media and Materials Loan Library.
The videos are also availalbe in streaming format on Digital Commons on UNF's web site. In the search box enter: sign language then you can enter sign vocabulary to see a listing of the videos availalbe.
The choices are: American Government, Economics, Drugs, Alchol and Sexual Behavior, Language Arts, Science, Sports, IEP Vocabulary, Mathematics, and Totally Teen Talk.
