Call for auditions | This Is My Brave - College Edition, a OneUSF Production

The cast of This Is My Brave - College Edition, a OneUSF Production bows at the end of the 2022 performance.

Auditions for This Is My Brave - College Edition, a OneUSF Production are now open to all USF students (undergraduates and graduate-level students, from all colleges and on all campuses) and will be held on Jan. 19-21 for the April 21, 2023 show. To sign up for an audition spot, students can visit bit.ly/TIMBauditions2023.

The production, led by Kristin Kosyluk, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy, is seeking student storytellers to share a five-minute creative piece about their lived experience with mental health and/or addiction. Examples of previous creative pieces include poetry, original music, comedy, essay, dance, or other artistic expression.

The mission of This Is My Brave is to empower individuals to put their names and faces on their personal stories of recovery from mental illness and addiction in order to inspire others to speak openly about their experiences as well.
