Karah Greene

Karah Greene, ACCESS Lab Deputy Director, graduated from USF with her MSW in December 2021. She is passionate about addressing social justice issues and promoting health equity. Her research interests include 1) improving access to quality healthcare among underserved populations, 2) improving quality of life for people living with HIV, and 3) interventions to address and alleviate negative health outcomes stemming from sexual violence. She has been a member of Dr. Galea's lab since November 2020 as study coordinator for multiple research projects. Karah has co-authored more than nine peer-reviewed publications and 23+ conference and research-based presentations. She began USF's Social Work PhD program in August 2023. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, writing poetry, and volunteering in her community.
