Karah Greene

Karah Greene, ACCESS Lab Deputy Director, began USF's Social Work PhD program in August 2023. Karah graduated from USF with a master's degree in social work in December 2021 and is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. Her research focuses on improving access to quality healthcare services, specifically to promote quality of life and mental health outcomes for people living with HIV and older adults. She has been a member of Dr. Galea's lab since November 2020 as study coordinator for multiple research projects. Karah has co-authored more than 18 peer-reviewed publications and 40+ conference and research-based presentations. Outside of academic work, she enjoys crocheting, cooking new recipes, and volunteering in her community.
