The Lean Six Sigma program will encompass all the necessary requirements for you to
obtain a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification including training hours, project
assessment and the exams.
The program focuses on managing quality projects utilizing the fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Lean topics include the concepts of the elimination of waste and reduction of cycle time in organizational processes. Six Sigma principles consist of problem solving techniques, data collection and analysis, reduction of process variation, process capability and control, and continual improvement.
Course Structure
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) program is broken out into six modules. Students
select and work on a real problem while applying learned techniques and tools to effectively
resolve the problem and meet specified project goals. Convenient classes are offered
in Tampa and St. Petersburg on an open enrollment basis. No application required.

Green Belt certification. It's a great fit for:

What You Will Learn
Learning to build and use quality processes has been shown to increase customer satisfaction
and eliminate waste. Students will learn the principles of the DMAIC process to achieve
these goals.

- Measure the process through data collection and process reviews
- Analyze the data utilizing statistical tools
- Improve the process by creating effective solutions
- Control to ensure the process continues to meet its output objectives
What You Will Earn
To successfully complete the program, participants must meet the attendance requirement,
successfully complete a storyboard and pass a series of exams.
Upon successful completion you will earn continuing education contact hours/CEUs and
you will receive a letter of completion upon request, which may apply for professional development credit and you will receive a Digital
Badge (a digital version of your earned credentials Learn More). A certification from the USF Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education
will also be issued upon request.
Cost of Attendance
$2,999 (includes cost of all materials and the tool that will be used for the duration
of the course, series of exams and final storyboard review for certification)
