Reading Skills
University of South Florida, Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education is proud to offer the Summer Reading and Writing Skills Program as a community service to families on campus and at over 30 locations throughout South Florida. Since 2003, this program has helped students in our community build strong reading skills and develop a deep love of books and reading. The program is designed and taught by the Institute of Reading Development, a nationwide leader in reading skills instruction.

- 4-Year-Olds and Entering Kindergarteners
- Entering 1st Graders
- Entering 2nd Graders
- Entering 3rd Graders
- Entering 4th Graders
- Entering 5th Graders
- Entering 6th, 7th, or 8th Graders
- Entering 9th, 10th, or 11th Graders
- Entering 12th Graders, College Students, or Adults
The summer reading programs are available in Boca Raton, Bradenton, Brandon, Clearwater, Coral Springs, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Hialeah, Hollywood, Lakeland, Loxahatchee, Miami, Margate, Miami Shores, Miramar, Naples, New Port Richey, North Port, Palmetto Bay, Plantation, Sarasota, Spring Hill, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Tarpon Springs, Tequesta, Weston, West Palm Beach and other locations throughout the area.
