Master of Arts in Teaching
The Master of Arts in Teaching in Social Science Education is designed for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than education who wish to become certified teachers. Completion of the program leads to teaching certification in social science at the middle or senior high school level (grades 6-12).
Master of Education Concentration
The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and with a concentration in Social Science Education is designed for experienced social studies educators who seek advanced preparation for positions in instructional leadership, supervision, and curriculum development.
Doctor of Philosophy Concentration
The Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Social Science Education prepares scholars and curriculum specialists for leadership positions in the social studies field.
