USF Business Plan Competition
Overview
about this year's competition:
On October 16th at the auditorium of the Lynn Pippenger Hall seven teams of a smart mix of undergraduate and graduate students were selected from to present their entrepreneurial innovations and get a chance to win $15,000. The students were selected based on a submission of a full written business plan.
This year’s competition was sponsored by Gilbert Gonzalez, a Muma College of Business alum (DBA ’17 and MBA’ 90)

ABOUT THE usf business plan competition
- Each year 5-8 USF students teams will be invited to pitch their innovations
- The pitch competition offers a unique opportunity to showcase ones business plan and present a 10 minute pitch before a panel of professionals (PowerPoint presentations might be used as visual aid).
- Awards will be provided to the winner of the competition
- The winning team will represent USF at the Florida Venture Forum pitch competition
OUR GOALS
- To inspire USF students to start new businesses
- To teach valuable business skills
- To promote entrepreneurship across Florida
- To help students achieve success in the classroom and after they graduate
