ONLINE INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

This award-winning workshop will provide you with the foundations of effective online teaching. The completion of this course is required for all USF instructors currently teaching or scheduled to teach a fully online course. For more information, please visit our OIC page.

Important: The OIC is open to all, but due to demand we must prioritize faculty teaching fully online courses. If you are not teaching a fully online course and interested in the OIC we offer the OIC Open. The OIC Open is a replica of the certification-based OIC but it is self-paced and does not count towards certification. You can use this as an opportunity to preview the OIC and/or use it as a training resource to build your skills as an online instructor. Enroll in OIC Open.

Kaltura is a media hosting solution for USF Tampa campus instructors teaching fully online courses. It has powerful tools such as auto-captioning, analytics, and chaptering. CAMTASIA FOUNDATIONS

Camtasia is a screen-recording program used to create narrated presentations. This workshop will provide you with the fundamentals of recording, editing, and publishing. You will learn both the technical aspects of Camtasia along with the best practices related to effective online presentations. Enroll in Camtasia Foundations.
