The Division of Human Resources, UCO Payroll and Information Technology have teamed up to implement a PeopleSoft (known as GEMS at USF) upgrade which will include the Fluid user interface. This will result in improved navigation to your GEMS data across multiple devices (i.e. desktop/laptop computer, tablet or smart phone). The upgrade will also position USF to take advantage of additional system functionality.
GEMS will not be available beginning Friday, November 8th at 5:00PM. The upgraded system is scheduled to be available to a limited population for validation on Tuesday morning, November 12. Once the initial validation is complete, the system will be made available to all GEMS users. The upgraded system is anticipated to come back online for all users on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 12th; a communication will be sent out once it is available.
Whether you just use GEMS for Self Service functions or your role at USF requires you to perform additional GEMS functions, your GEMS access should not be affected by the upgrade.
