Starting In Spring
Welcome to USF! Orientation is your opportunity to experience what it's like to be a USF student, both in and out of the classroom. During your two-day Orientation, you will interact with current Bulls, hear about USF resources, speak with an academic advisor, and learn ways to get involved on campus.
We are excited for you to join us at your First Year Orientation on January 4th and 5th. Keep in mind that any guests attending Orientation with you will have a separate, but concurrent Orientation program on the same day. If you have already made your reservation, students can add a guest by logging back into your reservation and updating it accordingly. Please note, our Spring First Year Orientation session is a two-day experience, but there is NOT an overnight stay associated with your Orientation. Please begin planning accommodations for yourself and any family or guests that may be attending with you.
For students planning to live on campus, the official Housing and Residential Education opening is January 6th, 2018. If you would like to move in earlier than this date, you can move in on January 3rd, 2018. However, if you would like to do this you must log in to the housing portal using your NetID and password and submit an Early Arrival Request Form and pay any additional associated fees. If you are not planning to live on campus, you will need to arrange accommodations for you and your guest for the Orientation two-day experience.
Once you have completed and paid for your Orientation reservation, you can log back in at any time using your NetID and password to download your confirmation page and parking permit. Your confirmation page will include detailed information about the session and necessary arrival details, including a parking permit. Please note, parking permits will not be emailed to you or your guests.
Be sure to continue checking your USF email, as you will receive additional details to prepare you for your arrival prior to Orientation. Do not hesitate to reach out to our office by calling 813-974-3060 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you have.
