Starting in Spring - Transfer
*If you are attending Orientation for Spring 2021, please visit this link for your specific information regarding your sessions and other important information.*
The Transfer program contains two different sessions, Express and Traditional. Based on the descriptions below, please direct yourself to your respective program type.
Please Note: Students will only be attending one of these program types, not both.
Our Transfer Express sessions are designed for experienced students and/or students who will receive assistance throughout their transition. These sessions cover the basic information you need to know as a new USF student - academic policies, community expectations, etc. The streamlined session puts you in the driver's seat of building a connection to the University. Orientation staff are available outside of the Orientation session to assist you in your transition.
Transfer Express is only available to the following student types:
- Students born on or before December 31, 1995
- Students attending USF for their second baccalaureate degree (not formerly USF students)
Our Transfer Traditional sessions are designed specifically for the diverse transfer student population at USF. These sessions showcase the broad range of opportunities available to students at our global research university. Our research shows that transfer students are looking for the full university experience, and are eager to engage with the academic and co-curricular experiences available to students. The Transfer Traditional session is highly interactive and builds a connection between you and the University.
