Yoga Flow & Adventure RETREAT

Come join USF Outdoor Rec and USF Fitness as we head to Wekiva Springs for a Yoga Flow retreat! We'll be practicing some wonderful stress reduction techniques like journaling, reflection, yoga, and also some adventure like swimming in the springs and kayaking on the river! This longer retreat allows us time to really get away after finals and recenter ourselves before the holiday break. Wekiva is a beautiful location and we'll be able to truly relax and find our FLOW!

Spring Break: Puerto Rico Service Trip
March 10th through 16th

This year, we're headed down to Puerto Rico to help rebuild after hurricanes Maria and Irma devastated the island. We'll be headed to El Yunque, the only tropical National Rainforest in the National Forest Service system. We'll be helping rebuild/clear trails for visitors to enjoy and clearing out their primitive campsites so that families can once again enjoy camping with the enchanting sound of Coqui everywhere! We'll be a self contained unit, primitive camping in El Yunque ourselves with very few amenities even accessible. If you love nature, connecting people to the outdoors, and want a way to help out Puerto Rico, this is the trip for you!

Cumberland Island Camping
March 14th through 17th

Explore and photograph the historic structures, hike through maritime forests and beautiful beaches, scour the beach after a strong storm, camp in the backcountry or wilderness, enjoy a calm sunset and gaze at the unobstructed views of the stars. Whatever your adventure may be, you will find it on Cumberland Island. There is a total of 50 miles of hiking trails on the island. Hike your way from the maritime forests to the beautiful beaches. Acadia National Park
May 9th through 17th

This Trip will visit one of the most visited and popular parks in the country during its quieter – albeit much colder – time. Huge wave surges crash on rocks in chimney style flumes, with a pine forest brushing right against the rocky Atlantic coast. Head inland and hike around the perimeter of grottos and lakes where whales and bears may be visible. Moose watching is possible as they meander through the inner forests.
