Apply to USF
Admission to USF is more competitive than ever, but the process of applying is not difficult. Each applicant is considered individually, taking into account grades, rigor of curriculum and standardized test scores.
Take the next step to becoming a USF Bull! Begin an application (you’ll need approximately 30 minutes) or complete an application you already started.
Check the status of your application to see if further action is required or if a decision is posted. Update a completed application to change your term of entry, your major or your home campus. Access forms you may be asked to complete after you apply.
Unsure if you’re a freshman? Check out the definition here. Be sure to review all admissions requirements and deadlines before applying.
How We Make Decisions
Learn how USF makes freshman admission decisions. In addition to GPA, test scores and coursework, we consider a number of academic success predictors and other admission factors.
Review the requirements for special scenarios, including home school students, GED students, and students with disabilities. Check to see if you qualify for a foreign language waiver.
