A chance for alumni to connect with respected business executives in the Tampa Bay community, the USF Muma College of Business's new "A Conversation with a CEO" series starts in March with Jabil Circuit CEO Mark Mondello.

Muma College of Business Dean Moez Limayem will interview Mondello on March 24, speaking about the three main factors that influenced his business journey and brought him to where he is today. The conversation will be a personal and interactive look at Mondello's career. The event will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (USF CAMLS), 124 S. Franklin Street, Tampa, Fla., 33602. The event is free, but RSVPs are required through EventBrite. A continental breakfast will be served.

Mondello has been with Jabil, a Fortune 200 Company headquartered in St. Petersburg, for more than 20 years. A publicly traded company, Jabil is one of the world's largest contract manufacturers, with more than 180,000 employees throughout 101 locations in 27 countries. Mondello started at Jabil in the 1990s on the manufacturing floor after graduating from USF's engineering program in 1987. He rose through the company, taking the chief operating officer position in 2002 and becoming the CEO in 2013.

"We are so excited to have Mark with us to talk about his path to becoming Jabil's CEO," Limayem said. "I know attendees will come away with wisdom they can apply to their own careers. This conversations with a CEO series aims to engage the entire Tampa Bay business community in these conversations, passing business insights from the leaders of today to the leaders of tomorrow."
