Research Spotlight - Anol Bhattacherjee

Anol Bhattacherjee's research interests include the adoption of information technology innovations, healthcare informatics, and knowledge transfer in social networks. He has over 70 publications, including in premier journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Journal of MIS, that have generated more than 2,300 citations.

Bhattacherjee is currently examining what factors motivate independent software developers' adoption of technology platforms such as Apple iPhone and Google Android for building mobile applications. He is also investigating alternative modes of governing online knowledge repositories such as wikis and how such governance influences people's willingness to contribute to and use knowledge from these repositories.
