Meet Our Staff
Makenzie Schiemann, director
As the Director, Makenzie oversees the case management program and serves as Chair for the Students of Concern Assistance Team.
Nicole Morgan, assistant director
Nicole serves as the primary case manager for SOS and meets with students referred to the case management program. Additionally, as the Assistant Director, Nicole supervises the GA and works in collaboration with the Center for Student Wellbeing to oversee Feed-A-Bull, the campus food pantry. As a student, you may be scheduled to meet with Nicole for case management services. Nicole's favorite part of meeting with students is connecting them to resources and increasing their self advocacy. Nicole likes spending time with her dog, Olive, reading, and exploring local spots in Tampa.
Aisha Warner, case manager
Aisha is a case manager for SOS and meets with students referred to the case management program. As a student, you may be scheduled to meet with Aisha for case management services. Aisha's favorite part of meeting with students is providing tangible solutions to individual difficulties and seeing her students grow over time. In her personal time, Aisha enjoys spending time at the beach, doing yoga, and hanging out with her dog Jules.
Joseph Contes, case manager
Joseph is a case manager for SOS and meets with students referred to the case management program. As a student, you may be scheduled to meet with Joseph for case management services. Joseph's favorite part of meeting with students is seeing their progress no matter how big or small and getting to experience part of their personal journey. In his personal time, Joseph enjoys taking orange theory classes, trying new foods with friends, and going to the beach.
Melissa Lopez, administrative specialist
As the Administrative Specialist, Melissa supports the daily functions of the SOS office by calling and emailing students, consulting with those who call the office seeking information on how to support students, and arranging meetings and presentations. Melissa can help you with scheduling appointments, making a referral to the office, and connecting with your case manager
