Supply Chain Management
Sourcing and Distribution
The mission of our team is to provide the finest customer service, and to provide our customers with the best options available for Sourcing and Distribution of supplies and materials. Our business partners are some of the strongest local, state, and national dealers and manufactures. This partnership allows us to provide the USF Community with rapid and cost-effective sourcing initiatives as well as custodial product distribution throughout the campus.
In addition, the Distribution sector works with USF Departments and Direct Support Organizations (DSO) for event set up, equipment rental, cleaning out office space, as well as complete small scope furniture moves between departments.
Lastly, we work with all of the Office of Administrative Services departments to dispose of outdated, obsolete or damaged equipment, tools, and/or computer equipment that is under the $5,000 threshold. The Supply Chain Management group will assist with removing these items out of the areas and be disposed of as outlined by the USF Asset Management procedures.

Distribution
Rental Services supports departmental and student events that occur on campus. Based on CDC guidelines (www.cdc.gov), COVID-19 spreads less commonly through contact with contaminated surfaces. However, to ensure safety for everyone, each item will be cleaned with an approved EPA registered disinfectant just before every event and again right after the event to mitigate the potential spread of the virus. In addition, the staff delivering the items will wear face coverings and use gloves when wiping down the equipment as well as maintain appropriate distancing recommendations.
