Book Orders

HOW TO SUBMIT Book Orders Through CANVAS

  1. Open Canvas through MyUSF.
  2. Select your upcoming assigned course and select Follett Discover in the left-side navigation menu. You must enable Canvas pop-ups in your browser settings to allow the Follett Discover website to open a window. 
  3. You must accept the terms and conditions for the adoption request to move forward with the process.
  4. In the Follett Discover window, select the Term and Course, and click Update.
    • If no book is needed, you can indicate this right away.
    • If you need a book, you can use the Discover search tool to see what’s available for your course. You can also use the global search box located at the top right-hand corner of the screen to do a more targeted search by entering a keyword, ISBN, author, or title. Watch the Follett Discover Demo.
    •  If you have taught the course previously, you can look for book orders from previous terms.

  5. Once your book/s are identified, choose Required or Recommended for the material usage and click Adopt

For questions about your book orders, use Follett Discover's Message Center to contact the  Campus Bookstore.

For graduate students submitting instructor teaching applications: You can select the current term and course to explore book options ahead of time.
