About Us
Science students face unique challenges during their time at USF. Our Science Support Advisors help to support our science students in throughout their journey at USF, in conjunction with their major advisors.
Science Success Advising
The Science Success Advisor provides targeted outreach to students focusing on their success in their science and math coursework and meets with those who need additional advising help. Additionally, she provides programming for science students on a variety of topics, including careers beyond the health professions and strategies for success.
Science transfer Advising
The Science Transfer Advisors meet with and support new science transfer students as they transition into USF. Most science students will meet with the Science Transfer advisors before starting at USF during their Pre-Orientation appointment. However, the office provides support to this student population throughout their first semester at the institution.
