Class Schedules

Classes meet 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on alternating weekends, one Friday and Saturday and one Saturday each month at the Tampa campus during the fall and spring semesters.

International Component

A signature component of USF’s Executive MBA program is the international immersion experience, which takes place during the summer between the first and second year of the program. Students travel to a destination country to engage with global companies and organizations, gaining firsthand insight into international business practices and cultural perspectives. The cohort is presented with three potential destinations and collaborates to select the final location.

The land portion of the international program (lodging, meals and transportation) is included in the program fees. Round-trip airfare to the country is the student's responsibility.

Admission Requirements

When applying for the Executive MBA (EMBA) program, candidates are generally expected to meet several key criteria. Typically, this includes having extensive professional experience, often exceeding 10 years, with significant time spent in managerial or leadership roles. Professionals ready to take the next step are encouraged to connect with our EMBA program manager.

Admission Consideration

EMBA admissions are based on a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate's academic background, managerial experience and proficiency in quantitative analysis, writing, and communication. Interviews play a key role in admissions decisions, offering candidates a chance to ask questions while helping the program form balanced cohorts. GMAT/GRE scores may be required for candidates who need additional academic support. This holistic approach ensures that each cohort is diverse, dynamic, and well-prepared for the rigorous EMBA journey.

This scholarship has been established to help students achieve their personal and professional goals. As per the donor intent, preference will be given to students: 1) who are self-employed or work for smaller companies, and 2) who live in Sarasota or Manatee county.

Additional information will be provided to admitted students when applications become available.

Financial Aid

We recommend students begin their research for tuition assistance through their employer prior to applying for federal tuition assistance. Providing educational benefits and reimbursements to employees is one way organizations help support the continuing education of their employees.

If your company does not offer financial assistance we recommend applying for a federal education loan through USF's Financial Aid website.

Graduate students are eligible for Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans. More information about these loans can be found here.
