Tourism, sport and entertainment programs merge to expand opportunities
The newly created School of Hospitality and Sport Management will enable an enhanced
curriculum, advance research initiatives, and prepare students for multi-faceted careers
in sport, entertainment, hospitality and tourism.
The School of Hospitality and Sport Management regularly invites the community to
experience the creative excellence of faculty, staff and students.In the spring of
2024, the Food Sustainability Student Challenge will be launched with Aramark. The
competition is open to all USF students and cash prizes will be given.
The School of Hospitality & Sport Management at the University of South Florida provides
quality education in hospitality management by creating an intellectual, collaborative,
ethical and inclusive environment for students, faculty, industry and the community
to produce innovative educational, leadership and research opportunities.
02/04/26 — The statewide competition was created to inspire university and college students to develop scalable and impactful solutions that foster the growth of hockey throughout Florida.
01/29/26 — A recent collaboration with Mastry's Brewing produced the St. Pete Pilsner with artwork also designed by USF students. It’s currently available at Mastry’s tasting room in St. Pete Beach.
01/28/26 — A beer brewed by USF alumni, featuring a student-designed label, is now available to the public. Sold at Mastry’s Brewing, a portion of proceeds supports USF’s Brewing Arts program.
