Online Accounting Major
The Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy Online BS in Accountancy program is designed for working professionals who are unable to come to campus for traditional in person classes. The Online Accountancy program begins at the Junior level (60+ credit hours) for incoming transfer students. Online students receive the same access to all Muma College of Business resources and expert faculty.
Admission Criteria
For consideration to join USF’s Online Accounting Major, students must meet the following:

Admitted to USF and the College of Business as an Accounting Major,

Have 60+ transfer credits, and
-
Completed ALL 7-state mandated business pre-requisite courses
In addition, students must meet at least one (1) of the criteria below and provide verification:
- Previously earned Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Currently employed working at least 40 hours a week Mon. – Fri.
- A full-time legal caregiver
- A home address 45+ miles from all USF campuses
Online Course Expectations
Students are expected to take ALL classes Online. Typically, there will only be one online section - instructor choice is not an option.

- 10-15+ hours per 3-credit class

- Mix of Asynchronous (no set day/time) and Synchronous
(MS Teams day/time required)

- Computer, mic, 2 cameras & Honorlock
- Proctored exams may also be required
Admission Survey & Verification
If you have been Admitted to USF, earned 60+ credit hours, completed all 7 business prerequisites, and meet at least one (1) of the Admission criteria above, complete the online program survey & verification form.
