Summer Institute
Every year, EIP provides a four-day conference in the summer for educational interpreters. The conference is free for everyone. At least six different presenters are invited to present at Summer Institute. There will be three tracks at Summer Institute: Newbies, On way to certification, and Certified. The EIP Coordinator is very flexible about placing interpreters into grouping. Summer Institute is always fun and full of information for everyone!
CEUs are provided for those who need to earn CEUs.
July 25-29
Workshops will be held in both Communication Sciences & Psychology Buildings. Make sure to park near both buildings. Please try to carpool if possible because there will be limited parking.
- Tuesday, 8 am: Welcome and Introductions PCD 1147, workshops 9 am to 4 pm
- Wednesday to Friday: Workshops 9 am to 4 pm
- Lunch break: 12 pm to 1 pm

EIPA testing will be offered on July 29 for those who are interested. EIP stipends are available for those who qualify.
