Graduates welcomed into the behavioral healthcare profession with pinning ceremony

Thirty graduates of the USF Behavioral Healthcare (BHC) program, were celebrated Thursday evening during the program's pinning ceremony, where many received their pins.

Assistant Professor Nik Lampe, from the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy, served as guest speaker.

The event was led by Gregory Teague, PhD, chair of the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy, who served as master of ceremonies. College of Behavioral and Community Sciences Associate Dean Howard Goldstein, PhD, delivered remarks, and Assistant Professor Nik Lampe, PhD, from the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy, served as guest speaker. 

Academic Programs Director Nickie Zenn, EdS, NCSP, presented each student with a pin, which they were encouraged to wear during their USF graduation.

The Behavioral Healthcare program exposes students to the organization, finances, and outcomes of behavioral health services, and prepares them for employment or advanced professional training in the field.
