Computer Engineering graduate program ranked 48th in US News & World Report

The Computer Engineering graduate program in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is ranked No. 48 in the most recent US News & World Report annual ranking for top 50 public universities. From Florida Trend (March 16, 2017):

"USF graduate programs that rank in USNWR's top 50 public universities nationally include: Library and Information Studies (No. 25), Best Medical Schools: Research (No. 27), Masters of Nursing (No. 27), Engineering – Environmental and Environmental Health (No. 29), Engineering –Industrial/Manufacturing (No. 34), Best Medical Schools: Primary Care (No. 47), Doctor of Nursing Practice (No. 48) and Computer Engineering (No. 48)."

US News & World Report examines a variety of factors in determining the ranking of a program. These factors include acceptance rates, test scores on GRE, student-faculty ratios, employment rates upon graduation, course offerings, department culture, total cost to obtain the graduate degree, any advising and mentoring opportunities for students, and the school's location and campus life.

The rankings of the Computer Science and Information Technology graduate programs are still being analyzed.
