Professor Swaroop Ghosh receives 2015 College of Engineering Outstanding Research Achievement Award. This award recognizes scholarly accomplishments of national and international distinction, made by researchers that elevate the standing of the college. Accomplishments considered in the evaluation process include but are not limited to significant discovery and innovation,high impact publications, patents and technology transfer, prestigious research awards, contributions in leadership at the national or international level and consistent/continuous research impact and productivity. The applications are reviewed by an awards committee comprised of members of the Engineering Research Advisory Council or previous awardees.

Professor Ghosh leads the Laboratory Of Green and secure Integrated Circuits and Systems (LOGICS) with a focus on low-power circuits and hardware security. This team of five PhD, two MS, and, several REU students has produced 10 IEEE journals and over 22 IEEE conference papers since 2012. His research is supported by National Science Foundation (NSF), Semiconductor Research Corp. (SRC), Intel Corp and Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) Young Faculty Award.
