Professional Development Non-Credit CertificatE
The UCEM Professional Development Certificate Program is a required activity offered in Canvas to help graduate students be successful in their academic program at USF and beyond. The program provides graduate students with a variety of professional development opportunities (in-person and virtual) focused in three areas: Academic & Research Development, Building Transferable Skills, and Career Exploration & Planning. The goal of the program is to offer a menu of activities that can customized by Sloan scholars to enhance their knowledge and skills as they prepare for their future careers.
Scholars will receive a professional development certificate from the Office of Graduate Studies and invited to the Fall Scholars of Excellence Reception for a pinning ceremony. Scholars will also earn a digital Professional Development Badge that they can share with employers on their LinkedIn profile or ePortfolio.
The Graduate Professional Development Certificate Program is an USF Office of Graduate Studies and USF Sloan University Center of Exemplary Mentoring (UCEM) joint initiative.
