Card Swipe Access and Security Systems

USF IT Operational Technology directly manages all requests related to card swipe/timelock access to buildings or classrooms, security alarms, and video security systems. Related requests can be submitted to the service desk at 813-974-HELP (4357), help@usf.edu, or by submitting a ticket online

Students: To report a non-emergency maintenance issue in a non-residential building, contact the Facilities Service Center at (813) 974-2750 or FM-ServiceCenter@usf.edu

Faculty & Staff: All university departmental work requests should be submitted through Maintenance Connection. Visit the Facilities Work Requests page for more information.

Emergency Facilities Requests: Call the Facilities Service Center at (813) 974-2845 (available 24/7).

The USF Post Office is responsible for providing mail service to students and employees as well as operating a full service post office that is open to the public. Bulk mailing services are also available to customers.

Concept Proposal Intake Process

Are you a university department or organization requesting a modification to university space? Start with the Concept Proposal Intake Process. Submit a Concept Proposal for requests involving , renovating/remodeling space, adding temporary space, adding aesthetic items (sculptures, trees, banners, etc.), adding walls and/or cubicles, or adding/modifying permanent signage.

Temporary Campus Signage Request

If you want to place temporary signage (i.e., yard signs or a-frame signs) on university property to advertise an approved activity, you must follow the Temporary Signage Request process. Only USF entities (e.g., College, Department, Registered Student Organization, or Direct Support Organization) can request to place temporary signage on campus.
