Through a culture of accountability and collaboration, the Office of the Provost leads academic planning and policy, compliance, accreditation, data governance, and institutional assessment, ensuring transparent, evidence-based decision-making and strategic growth of the academic enterprise.

Two key areas drive these efforts forward: the Office of Decision Support and Academic Planning & Accreditation. 

The Office of Decision Support supports USF's strategic decision-making by providing data, analysis, business solutions, and reporting to the USF community and external entities.

Academic Planning & Accreditation provides full-lifecycle oversight of academic programs and courses—including development, revision, and termination—while managing specialized and institutional accreditation, ensuring compliance, and stewarding curriculum systems, Degree Works, and academic program data.
