The University of South Florida Technology Transfer Office has launched a new online Agreements Portal designed to simplify the submission and tracking of Confidential Disclosure Agreements and Material Transfer Agreements.
The portal provides USF faculty and researchers with a centralized, more efficient way to submit agreement requests, provide required information, and track the status of their requests. It also supports industry partners and collaborating institutions by creating a clearer, more coordinated process for establishing agreements with USF.
Confidential Disclosure Agreements, also known as CDAs or nondisclosure agreements, help protect proprietary information before it is shared between USF researchers and outside organizations. Material Transfer Agreements, or MTAs, establish the terms for exchanging biological, chemical and other research materials.
The new portal brings key information together in one location, giving researchers greater visibility into their requests while helping the Technology Transfer Office manage agreements more efficiently.
The new Agreements Portal creates a more transparent and user-friendly process for our researchers and external partners. By simplifying agreement submissions and making it easier to track each request, we can support collaboration while continuing to protect USF research, intellectual property and institutional interests.

The launch is part of the Technology Transfer Office’s continued effort to improve its services and simplify processes throughout the research and commercialization pathway.
