Meet the Team

2022 HEAT Peer Health Educators

Alyssa: Hi! My name is Alyssa and I am a fourth-year student studying Cell and Molecular Biology and minoring in Religious Studies. I have an interest in genetic and cell research, the environment, and microbiology!  HEAT has helped me connect my passions for science and the well-being of others. I joined HEAT to meet new people, talk about sexual, mental, and physical health, and to help students learn about USF and community health resources! In my free time I enjoy gardening, painting, and reading.

Ca: Hi everyone! My name is Ca and I’m a senior majoring in Public Health and Statistics. After graduating, I hope to pursue a career in biostatistics. I joined HEAT because I wanted to connect with my peers and promote the health and well-being of students, so that we can all have the best possible college experience and stay healthy!

Hailey: Hi! My name is Hailey and I am a senior studying biological health sciences. I hope to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy after graduating from USF. I joined HEAT because I love getting to know my fellow peers and helping them know what resources are available to them on campus, along with educating them on various health & wellness topics. College can be an extremely overwhelming time for many people so it's nice to be a part of a team that focuses on helping students with their needs!

Simone: Hey y’all! I am Simone Till from the Tampa Bay Area. I’m a social work senior with a minor in public service and leadership. I joined HEAT because it fulfills my passion in helping other people. I have gained many useful skills through interacting with students in a wide variety of programming. I highly recommend it to anyone that is interested!

Tosin: Hi, everyone! My name is Tosin, and I am from Orlando, Florida. I am a third year studying biomedical science and psychology. In my free time, you will find me playing soccer or reading. I enjoy working as a HEAT Peer Educator because it allows me to provide resources and support to my peers. I love being able to build connections with students in the community while also promoting holistic wellness.
