College Advising Offices

Have a question regarding your degree plan? Each college department has advisors to help guide you through your Plans of Study (Eight Semester Plans) and serves as a resource to obtain your degree. Plan on meeting with your advisor once a semester.

Exploratory Curriculum

Not sure what to major in? The Exploratory Curriculum gives you a chance to explore different
careers before you officially declare a major. To get you started, the first-year experience
course, SLS 2901, explores your interests, strengths and career paths.

Transfer Students

High School or Entering Community College

Are you a high school student who plans on going to a community college for your Associate degree then transferring to USF for a Bachelor’s degree? Look at the Fuse graduation pathways you can take to make it a smooth transition to USF.

Current Community and State College Students

Are you currently at a community college and want to explore the possibilities of getting your Bachelor's degree at USF?  There are USF advisors at your college who would love to talk to you about that transition. The Office of Transfer Student Success to set up an advisor appointment.

60 + credits 

Do you have 60 or more credits and been out of college for more than 3 years? Academic Programs can work with you to see if you qualify for a Bachelor of General Studies or Bachelor of Science in Applied Science degree.
