USF Green to Gold Grant
The USF Green to Gold Grant is awarded to entering first time in college students with a zero Expected Family Contribution (EFC) who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by USF's priority deadline of January 1. This grant, in combination with the Federal Pell Grant, will cover tuition, fees and books. Recipients must enroll full-time (12 USF credit hours) each fall and spring semester. The grant may be renewed annually for a total of four years. Grant will be reduced if total aid, including private scholarships, exceeds cost of attendance.
To be considered for summer funding, half-time (6 USF credit hours) enrollment is required.
In order for the grant to be renewed in subsequent years, student must:
- meet the FAFSA priority filing deadline each year and have a zero EFC
- earn 24 USF credit hours during fall and spring or 30 USF credit hours if funded for fall, spring and summer semesters; and
- maintain a 2.25 cumulative USF GPA
