USF Take 15 Grant
The USF Take 15 Grant is awarded to new freshmen who are Florida residents and submitted a Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by USF's priority deadline of January 1. Students who receive Bright Futures are not eligible.
Recipients must enroll full-time (15 USF credit hours) each fall and spring semester. The grant may be renewed annually for a total of four years. This grant may be reduced due to receipt of other aid including private scholarships from outside USF.
In order for the grant to be renewed in subsequent years:
- Meet the FAFSA priority filing deadline each year and
- Received the grant in fall or spring of the current year and earn at least 30 USF hours and at least a 2.0 USF GPA by the end of summer that year
- Bright Futures recipients are not eligible for renewal
