My approach to therapy: I approach therapy with a deep commitment to providing a safe and inclusive space
for all individuals, with a particular focus on the LGBTQ+ community. As a Hispanic
cisgender gay man, I bring a unique perspective to my work, aiming to create a supportive
environment where clients can explore their feelings and concerns. My therapeutic
approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a strong foundation in evidence-based
practices. I believe in tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each client
while drawing from modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. My goal is to empower individuals
to navigate life's challenges, improve their mental well-being, and foster self-acceptance.
My approach to supervision: In my role as a supervisor, I am dedicated to providing guidance and support to aspiring therapists. My supervision approach reflects my commitment to inclusivity and cultural competence. I prioritize creating a collaborative learning environment where supervisees can develop their therapeutic skills and expand their cultural awareness. I encourage open dialogue, self-reflection, and a focus on ethical practice. My goal is to mentor and nurture the next generation of mental health professionals while promoting diversity and inclusivity in the field.

Fun Fact: Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner, family and friends. Exploring new destinations and immersing myself in different culture is a passion of mine. Traveling allows me to gain a broader perspective on the world and deepen my appreciation for the rich diversity of human experiences. Whether it's trying new cuisines, learning about local traditions, or making new friends from various backgrounds, I find immense joy in the beauty of our interconnected world.
