Psychological Emergencies

If you or someone you know is experiencing a life threatening emergency, call: 9-1-1 or University Police (813) 974-2628.


If you or someone you know is experiencing a personal or emotional crisis, please call:  (813) 974-2831.

  • During office hours ask to speak with the on-call counselor
    • After-hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) - wait for the recording & press number '3' to speak with a crisis counselor
  • Come in, or walk the student over, for a 30-minute urgent appointment at our Main Office SVC 2124 ONLY.
    • Fall & Spring Hours:
      Monday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
      Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
      Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
    • Hours for Same-day Appointment Sessions, effective October 7, 2019:
      Monday – Thursday : 8:00am – 6:00pm
      Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
